5G Player Unit Radio
Athena-Tek has leveraged the architecture of the ARES testbed to field over 18,000 custom ARES radios at the Combat Training Centers. The ARES II unit designed for the Combat Training Centers is a Player Unit Radio that is attached to a soldier to transfer live detailed training data, including videos, images, location, and health status, from the battleground to the command center in seconds.
We debuted the capabilities of this product line with live demonstrations at I/ITSEC 2021.
